May-be this month will become warm?
Now that May has arrived, we're hopeful for some wonderful weather that we can spend lots of our time outside learning. Please remember to send appropriate head gear - hats help keep that harsh sun off our faces and out of our eyes. We will also be applying sunscreen and bug spray as needed when we are out and about.
Speaking of hats... May 8th is "Hats on for Mental Health" day. Please send one in with your child that day. May 13th will be our staff meeting day, so remember not to send lunches and it's early dismissal. May 17th is Teacher Prep day, so there is no school for students that day. May 20th is Victoria Day stat, everyone gets that day off as well. We're going crazy for CRAZY HAIR Day on May 24th, so let's get creative that morning! Finally, Julie will be calling to book your parent teacher interviews soon, because that will be on May 27th.
The months of May and June absolutely FLY by and we can't wait to see what fun things they bring!
